With sharp styling, exceptional handling and strong performance, the learner-approved Gixxer SF 250 is designed to satisfy the demands of both new riders and those who still want some flair and fun in their powered two-wheel journey – whether commuting or on the open road.
For restricted licence holders, the Gixxer SF 250 is the perfect entry point into the wonderful world of motorcycling, starting with the willing but intimidating single-cylinder engine that produces maximum power of 19.8kW (26.7hp) at 9300rpm, with peak torque (22.2Nm) arriving at 7300rpm.
The four-stroke GIXXER SF 250 firmly takes its place in the now, ideal for learner and experienced riders alike and with styling cues from Suzuki’s legendary stable of cult motorcycles such as the GSX-R family and the iconic Hayabusa. Design highlights include the stylish twin-outlet exhaust with chrome caps, brushed-finish alloy wheels, rear tyre hugger and the easy-to-read digital console.

Maximum power is 19.8kW (26.7hp) at 9300rpm, with the torque peak (22.2Nm) arriving 2000rpm earlier – a flexible and smooth user-friendly powerplant that has just the right temperament in start-stop traffic.
The suspension – a 41mm front fork joined by a monoshock on the rear – also provides the best of both worlds: it smooths out road perfections with absolute ease but provides brilliant feedback and damping properties when the riding tempo rises.
The machine has stylish 17-inch alloy wheels, and there’s anti-lock braking on both the front and rear. The front brake calliper grips a massive 300mm front disc, so there’s performance peace of mind before the GIXXER SF even turns a wheel.
The styling cuts a contemporary European-inspired look, with inspiration from the catalogue of past iconic Suzuki sportsbikes and sports-tourers.
There’s a six-speed gearbox, so you’ll always have the right gear to keep the fuel-injected 249cc engine in its sweet spot, and the machine comes with Suzuki’s excellent Easy Start System – just thumb the starter once and let the bike do the rest.

The wet weight of the GIXXER SF 250 is a svelte 161kg, so the equation is simple: it’s nimble and darts from side to side with absolute ease and precision. Its narrow stance is also a boon in tight spots, and there’s also excellent stability offered by the 1345mm wheelbase.
That lithe posture also helps riders to firmly put their feet down with confidence, helped by the low 800mm seat height.
Separate rider and passenger seats with textured seat material hold well and have ample cushioning for comfort on longer rides. Pillions are accommodated on the GIXXER SF 250,
with a grab rail for extra reassurance.
